Poem; Early mornings.

It is at 4:30 or 4:45 am

When I usually wake up.

I truly dislike this pattern.

Waking up in the dark.

Usually in the midst of a nightmare.

It is depressing for a while

Then I enjoy the following

No noise in the house

Outside the only sounds are wild

Bats are scrambling as the daylight is coming

Birds of prey are still hunting

Deers are awake getting ready

To carry on their journey

The feeling is a bit eerie.

It seems that I am the only human on earth

This is the beauty of living isolated in the forest.

Peace and serenity
