Hopeless.
The absence of hope.
This is the state I am in now.
Nothing on the horizon.
But a desert without life.
I often think.
Why don’t I do it?
Maybe by fear.
Maybe for my children, my family.
I wish I were religious.
Pray and find comfort in my religion
But I don’t, I am an atheist
I can’t be a hypocrite
And believe in God when it is convenient
And not believe in God when things are fine
I still believe in life
But life right now is hard to live.

You’ve been feeling sad lately and I don’t really understand what I can say anymore. I want to console you and tell you that things will be okay but sometimes we are hopeless and not okay and that’s something that we need to pay attention to. I wish things would get better for you.
