Poem; Visit

I walked into the hospital.

I wonder if she’ll recall.

When I stepped into her room.

I saw her facing the window’s room.

I called her up.

She turned back her eyes lite up.

This ninety years old lady.

That I used to see daily.

She recognized me right away.

She was so happy to see me, I must say.

She mentioned that she was waiting for me.

All sort of feelings were thrown at me.

I stayed with her for a long time.

She needed to talk, solitude does it sometime.

Rage and affection depending on the conversation.

I gave her some love and all my attention.

Sadly, time was up, and I had to leave.

I hope to see her again but she is on her way out, I believe.

Peace and serenity
