Poem; The look

Dogs eyes

 

When you look into his eyes.

In its dark brown eyes.

You see so much love.

The look of unconditional love.

He is with you when you are in pain

He has healing power to ease your pain.

He can’t express himself.

But the look speaks for itself.

My friend, I love you too.

I hope you feel my love back you too.

      2. Thank you so much. It is motivating to read this, I have just started writing poems a few weeks back. I always loved them but didn’t believe I could write any until Saumya Agrawal challenged me and I tried. I was so afraid of the reactions when I wrote my first one. Thank you again for your words of encouragement.

      3. Exactly the same happened to me when I started. I thought I could not write any poem at all. Now I see every person can. The potential is in all of us. I have learned that from friends and from my students. At times some poems will be better than others, but I believe if a person has a passion what comes out will be beautiful, so keep writing no matter what happens or what people say. 😊
